Dear colleague, the open-access journal Foods (MDPI) is opening a special issue on "New Insights in Microbial Interactions for a Sustainable Winemaking".

As Guest Editors, we kindly invite you to contribute a research article or review paper to this special issue. The deadline for manuscript submissions will be 20th May 2021, but you can send your paper earlier if you wish, as all articles will be published individually and ongoing basis as soon as they are accepted.

On behalf of the editorial office, we can announce that the newly released Impact Factor for Foods is 4.092 (Journal Citation Reports, 2019 Edition). Foods now ranks 27/139 (Q1) in the category "Food Science & Technology”. An article processing charge (APC) of 1600 CHF (Swiss Francs) applies to papers accepted after peer review. You may be entitled to a discount if you have previously received a discount code or if your institute is participating in the MDPI’s Institutional Open Access Program (https://www.mdpi.com/about/ioap).

Please note that for papers submitted after 31 December 2020 an APC of 2000 CHF applies. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you regarding your interest in submitting a research article or review paper.
